How do I sign? Where is training? When does the season start? These are among some of the most frequently asked questions our club members receive. As a result, Sporting Ennistymon F.C has decided to dedicate this page to answering the queries we receive most often. We haven’t included specifics regarding exact days, times and locations as they are subject to change. However, once signed up, parents/guardians/players are added to relevant group chats where details are shared regarding upcoming training sessions and matches. As well as the item’s below, we recommend that a bottle of water be brought to training. The rest of the equipment is provided by the club.

Player development is Sporting Ennistymon F.C’s primary concern. Each level offers different stages of expectations. The focus is on individual skill development and ball mastery for all age groups. Our main components are developing a love for the game, having fun, and creating well-rounded players. The coaches are responsible for outlining and communicating a player development curriculum to fully develop our youth players under the Sporting Ennistymon Football Club coaching philosophy.

Our coaches have completed the FAI safeguarding 1 course, and some will have completed the FAI Player Development Programme (PDP) 1 course. Some coaches do have additional courses completed, such as PDP 2 and higher. Coaches are also Garda Vetted.

Sporting Ennistymon Football Club does not own or operate a set of fields. Most sessions are held at Lahinch Sportsfield, with the Men’s team training in Inagh Astro Turf. Most underage training sessions take place at either Lahinch Sportsfield or the CBS in Ennistymon. During the winter months, training is moved indoors to the Ennistymon Community Centre.

The Clare Schoolboys/Schoolgirls League (CSSL) is played over the summer months. The CSSL accommodates children aged from 9 till 16

The Clare District Soccer League (CDSL) runs from September till May. It caters for Senior players as well as U17 and Youth players.

The Sporting Ennistymon underage kit consists of black socks and black shorts, while management provides jerseys.

Sporting Ennistymon welcomes players from the Ennistymon Parish and the wider North Clare area. Some of the villages and towns that the club serve include Lahinch, Ennistymon, Lisdoonvarna, Doolin, Kilfenora, Miltown Malbay, Inagh, Kilnamona, and Quilty.
